USO San Diego is offering a Food Pantry program! The Mobile Pantry — a farmer's market style set-up in ACE Lot #12. The lot is across from the Downtown Center (303 A Street) at the corner of 3rd and A Street.
Food Pantry will be held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month.
We will be able to serve 400 families whereas in the past it was 200. There will be no need to arrive early as the truck will not be in the ACE #12 lot till 8:45 a.m.
Bring your own bags, wagons, etc… USO San Diego will not have any bags or boxes available this time.
The Center will be closed during the Mobile Food Pantry (normal operating hours are from 11 a.m. — 9 p.m.). Please note there will be no use of the restrooms.
USO San Diego offers this program to Active Duty, Reserve, Guard and their families. Food will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. If this will be your first time attending, please complete a food pantry participant form. This form can be picked up onsite at the Mobile Food Pantry.
-You will need to complete food pantry participant form (if this is your first time)
-You will need to show your valid military ID
-Military spouses with a valid military ID may also pick up food
-If parking in the ACE Lot #12, please park on the side closest to 2nd Street. Parking is free in this lot from 9 a.m. — 10 a.m. to accommodate those participating in the program.
