Celebrate Latino Conservation Week on the San Diego Bay!
Meet at Bayside Birding & Walking Trail on the San Diego Bay NWR. We'll be looking for marine wildlife and birds along the Otay River mouth and new habitat-restored salt marsh!
We'll have simple goodies and giveaways, and hopefully perfect weather. It may be hot, so make sure you wear sunscreen, hat, and bring a reusable water bottle. Comfortable walking shoes are good too. The trail is also stroller-friendly.
Total of 1 mile walking distance.
Portable restroom will be available and light snacks. FREE!
Bring your reusable water bottle!
Directions: Meet a USFWS Ranger in the parking lot to the left of the City of IB Public Works yard. The ranger will direct you to start on our deck overlooking the Otay River.
