Back Carrying With Brianna
Learning to wear your baby on your back can make babywearing so much easier as your child grows. It will be more comfortable for the wearer and your child gets the extended view that they desire.
If you use a SSC (soft-structured carrier like a Tula or Ergo) or meh dei, this class is for you. If you are a wrapper, this will also help to set the stage for back carrying in the future.
In this class, we will cover ways to get your child comfortable with being on your back — including fun games to play with them. You will learn to several ways to «hip scoot» in and out of your carrier in addition to «superman» styles of child placement.
Generally your child should be sitting unassisted in order to start back-carrying. If you would like to learn the basics before your child is developmentally ready, you are welcome to learn with a weighted doll.
A secondary caregiver is welcomed and encouraged in this class to look after your little one, while you are mastering your skills.
