Who: Teaching, Workshop and Performing Artists

When: Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 5:30-6:30 PM

Where: 4305 University Avenue, Suite 555, San Diego, CA 92105

Are you a professional artist?
Do you have experience teaching in schools?
Are you passionate about engaging all kids in the arts?
Are you dedicated to serving all regardless of background, race, and ability?

Did you answer with a confident «yes» to all three questions? If so, read on to learn more about Arts for Learning San Diego Artist Info Sessions.

Arts for Learning San Diego is currently looking for Performance, Workshop and Teaching artists with the following expertise:

Multi-Cultural Performing Artists
Bilingual Teaching Artist (any artform)
Theater Teaching Artists
Music Ensembles

Teaching & Workshop Artists: Come with your updated resume and a sample Lesson Plan (single class, any grade K-6) that includes the VAPA or NCAS Standards you are targeting.

Performing Artists: Come with your updated resume and an Event Proposal for your company or ensemble.

The first step to becoming a working Artist A4LSD is attending an upcoming Artist Info Session at our A4LSD office. These engaging, informational opportunities are not required to apply, but all Artists who attend an Info Session will be given priority when applications are reviewed. In this Artist Info Session, you will:

1) Learn more about A4LSD.
2) Discover paid opportunities to teach and perform.
3) Meet A4LSD staff.
4) Have an opportunity to ask questions.

A4LSD is always looking for dedicated, talented, independent professional teaching artists to partner with us as we work toward a world where all students, families, and communities imagine, create and thrive through the arts. We cannot wait to meet you!

Paid parking is available onsite for $1/hr (enter on 43rd Street and University). Free street parking is also available in the neighborhood.
