From the way of the shaman to contemporary modalities of auditory stimulation, we know that sound is vibration and vibration permeates all things. Sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. It heals on a physical level is because it so deeply touches and transforms us on the emotional and spiritual planes.
Through multimedia and scientific research, this experiential one-day workshop examines the impact of sound to address imbalances on every level of psychophysical functioning, and how it can play a positive role in the treatment of virtually any medical disorder.
We will experience and deepen inquiry into state-of-the-art modalities of frequency delivery, the voice, and the multilayered relationship among the scientific, physiological, cognitive, and artistic impact of sound on human behavior, consciousness and the environment.
Silvia Nakkach is a Grammy-nominated musician, vocal artist and educator. She is the creator of the CIIS Sound, Voice and Music in the Healing Arts certificate program, a former psychotherapist, and a leading voice in the field of music in consciousness and shamanic practices.
